Representatives from the major libraries form the board of the Group. In three years the main trends of the activities became clear:

• Data on all librarians seigniors in Lithuania;
• Meeting cultural and spiritual needs of members;
• Care about lonely and unhealthy.

At present time 650 seigniors are members of the Group.

Every year anniversary cards are send all around the country. Few seigniors received a gift - annual subscription for periodicals.

Another possibility to meet spiritual needs - excursions, which are extremely popular. Group members and senior librarians visit places of interest in Vilnius, in Lithuania.

Once in a year Group organises a meeting for all Vilnius seigniors. Within the limits of possibilities the Group supports lonely and poor members. Some charity organisations were involved also.

The tradition is becoming more and more popular - every year the graves of the deceased colleagues are visited.
